Michael Pangia leads the firm's aviation practice from the firm's Washington, DC office. Mike is a licensed commercial pilot and has a long experience with air crash disasters. As the former chief trial lawyer for the Federal Aviation Administration and a recipient of the Attorney General award for outstanding achievement in the development of aviation law, Mike is a nationally recognized expert in aviation law and safety and has represented victims and their families in air crash trials nationwide for many years.

Mike is based in Washington, D.C. When not practicing law, Mike is flying his planes, tinkering with his antique cars, and skiing.
